Course description
Price: $300+tx
This course has been designed for beginner drone pilots who want to learn how to fly a drone safely, whether for leisure or commercial purposes. This course lasts 3 hours and is given one-to-one with an instructor. As well as teaching you how to fly a drone, our instructor will teach you the best practices to adopt before, during and after the flight. Following this course, most candidates are ready to fly independently.
To take part in this course, you must have your own drone. If you don’t have a drone, we can rent one for the duration of the course for an additional fee of $125+tx (available at certain locations only). Please let us know in advance if you wish to rent a drone. All rental drones weigh over 250g.
Prerequisites for this course:
- If your drone weighs 250g or more, it must be registered and you must have a drone pilot certificate for basic operations.
- If your drone weighs less than 250g, there are no prerequisites.

- Enter your details and pay for your reservation;
- Once payment has been received, you will immediately receive two e-mails: one containing the invoice, and another containing the address of the course location, your instructor’s contact details and instructions. If you haven’t received one of these two e-mails, it’s very likely that it has slipped into your spam folder. If not, contact us and we’ll send you the e-mail(s).
Cancellation policy
- If you cancel your lesson more than 24 hours in advance and require a refund, a 3% fee will be charged to your refund.
- If you cancel your class less than 24 hours in advance and require a refund, a fee of $85+tx will be charged to your refund.
- For any absence, if you do not contact your instructor at least 2 hours in advance, a fee of $100+tx will be charged.
