Once you've passed the Transport Canada advanced exam, you'll need to pass the advanced flight review to obtain your Drone Pilot Certificate for Advanced Operations. This is a practical exam that assesses a candidate's ability to plan and complete a drone flight in an advanced operation context.

Prerequisites
The candidate must:
- Have passed the Transport Canada advanced exam.
- Have a registered drone with a take-off weight of at least 250g.
If you don’t have a drone, we can rent one for the duration of the course for an additional fee of $75+tx. The rental option is available at certain locations, so please let us know in advance if you wish to rent a drone.
To book
- From the drop-down menu, choose the location, date and time of your evaluation (Please note that if the available time for a location is from 21:00 to 24:00, this means that the flight reviewer will coordinate the date and time of the appointment with you once you have booked);
- Enter your details and pay for your reservation.
- Once payment has been received, you’ll immediately receive two e-mails: one containing the invoice, and another containing the information you need to prepare (instructions, location address, flight reviewer’s contact details, promo code to order the free online course “Advanced Flight Review Preparation”, etc.). If you haven’t received one of these two e-mails, it’s very likely that it has slipped into your spam folder. If not, contact us and we’ll send you the e-mail(s).
Cancellation policy
- If you cancel your appointment with less than 12 hours’ notice for reasons other than weather, or fail to attend without prior notice, a fee of $100 plus applicable taxes will be charged.
