Description

Price depending on location: $195 – $225+tx

Once you’ve passed the Transport Canada Advanced Exam, you’ll need to pass the flight review to obtain your drone pilot certificate for advanced operations. This is a practical exam that assesses a candidate’s ability to plan and complete a drone flight. For the flight review, you need a registered drone weighing between 250g and 25kg (e.g. a DJI Mini can be used with propeller guards). If you don’t own a drone, we can rent one for the duration of the assessment for an additional fee of $75+tx (available at certain locations only). Please let us know in advance if you wish to rent a drone.

To book

  • From the drop-down menu above, choose the location, date and time of your evaluation (Please note that if the available time for a location is from 21:00 to 24:00, this means that the flight reviewer will coordinate the date and time of the appointment with you once you have booked);
  • Enter your details and pay for your reservation.
  • Once payment has been received, you’ll immediately receive two e-mails: one containing the invoice, and another containing the information you need to prepare (instructions, location address, flight reviewer’s contact details, etc.). If you haven’t received one of these two e-mails, it’s very likely that it has slipped into your spam folder. If not, contact us and we’ll send you the e-mail(s).

Cancellation policy

  • If you cancel your appointment more than 24 hours before your assessment and require a refund, a 3% fee will be charged to your refund. An additional fee of $99+tx will apply if you have completed registration for the “Flight Review Preparation” course.
  • If you cancel your appointment less than 24 hours before your evaluation and require a refund, a fee of $85+tx will be charged to your refund. An additional fee of $99+tx will apply if you have completed registration for the “Flight Review Preparation” course.
  • For any absence, if you do not contact your instructor at least 2 hours in advance, a fee of $100+tx will be charged.
