Advanced Flight Review Preparation

COURSE OVERVIEW

In Canada, obtaining an advanced drone pilot certificate requires:

• Passing Transport Canada’s advanced exam
• Completing an advanced flight review, a practical test that evaluates your ability to safely plan and execute a drone flight

Once the advanced exam is passed, many candidates wonder how to effectively prepare for the advanced flight review.

The “Advanced Flight Review Preparation” course:

• Clearly explains what will be assessed during the advanced flight review
• Shows you how to prepare effectively
• Teaches you how to plan and carry out drone flights safely and legally, useful for both the exam and your day-to-day operations

Section 1 – Flight Planning

Note: If you’ve never flown a drone, it is strongly recommended to gain some piloting experience before attempting the L1CO flight review. You can practice on your own or enroll in our Advanced Practical Training for one-on-one guidance with an instructor
