L1CO Flight Review Preparation

COURSE OVERVIEW

In Canada, to obtain a Level 1 Complex Operations (L1CO) drone pilot certificate, you must:

• Complete a 20-hour theoretical training
• Pass Transport Canada’s Advanced and Level 1 Complex exams
• Successfully complete an L1CO flight review, a practical exam that evaluates your ability to plan and carry out a drone flight in advanced and Level 1 complex operations

Note: If you’ve never flown a drone, it is strongly recommended to gain some piloting experience before attempting the L1CO flight review. You can practice on your own or enroll in our L1CO Practical Training for one-on-one guidance with an instructor.
